Building a REST API with Spring Boot

In this tutorial you will build a REST API using Spring Boot. We will cover controllers, services, repositories and validation.

1. Create the project

Use start.spring.io to bootstrap a project with the Web and JPA dependencies.

2. Define the entity

Create a JPA entity annotated with @Entity.

3. Expose endpoints

Add a @RestController and map CRUD endpoints.
